A spectacular city
Barcelona is one of the privileged Spanish cities, especially concerning its location. It occupies the northeastern part of the peninsula, having its shores bathed by the waters of the Mediterranean. Barcelona is not the largest city in Spain but the second largest one, both in population and size. However, it sometimes manages to receive more tourists than Madrid because the capital of Catalonia is a very famous and popular city due to the fact that it hosts the works of the great Antoni Gaudi.

Everyone who visits Barcelona falls in love with it; it is a typical Mediterranean city and you will realize it as you first step on its streets. The Mediterranean influence is everywhere you look in the city: in its history, in its customs and traditions, in its culture and its cuisine.
